  1. Hey, I don’t know if this will help you at all, but honestly, you look great and all I can see is a little bloat (no fat!) which is typical for being in recovery. I stumbled across your blog by chance and only read the first posts that came up, but I am so happy for you to have gained your period back and to see that you are on the road to a healthier you. And don’t beat yourself up over a cutting relapse, it is completely normal to walk a bumpy road but it gets better!! I have suffered from an ED for so long and never thought my life could ever be as happy as it is now. I wish you the same happiness and that you recover fully and ultimately learn to love yourself for the beautiful human being that you are 🙂

You hate yourself for eating too much but its your body screaming for recovery and your subconsciousness answering that call, its a great thing that you may be proud of and embrace rather than hate yourself for it. By eating more you will at least physically recover slowly and then you might have the mental strength to recover on a psychological level as well. A starved brain isnt up to that task!! Please don’t hate yourself for eating more recently.

  3. I feel your pain.. what I see in the mirror is not what the mirror actually shows. Step back and watch yourself looking in the mirror, you will see that you are wrong, like I do, but feel different.., we must learn to live together


  4. I always want to know what people see when they look at me. But I know that no matter how honest they seemed I would never be able to allow myself to believe their compliments. I’m guessing you’re the same and it truly saddens me because you ARE beautiful. No matter what we’re told all we hear is FAT.
